You would have probably seen this on a lot of websites but if not read on it might interest you.
Press The "Print Scrn" button next to scroll lock.
Delete all icons from the desktop.
Click start.
Click run.
Type 'mspaint' without quotes.
Press CTRL+V.
Save the picture somewhere on the hard drive.
Right click on the desktop.
Select propeties.
Click on the desktop tab.
Click browse.
Select the picture and click ok.
Click ok again.

Well this is more easy in xp cuz u can hide desktop icons then do print screen and then in paint paste the picture and save it.Change the background then
